How does the game work?
Game Logic and System
Genera Game is a crafting game where you can make anything, making it endless with the Power of AI. The players can combine different items to form others which can be then also used to build other items. The item creation is powered by AI technology.
Elementals
In the beginning stage of crafting, there are what is called "The Elements": fire, water, earth and wind. These elements exist in the blockchain in the form of NFTs and can be purchased on the Genera Game App. The Elements have an infinite supply, meaning that they can be minted by everyone, every time and everywhere.
However, minting has a cost and that cost is not constant. The minting cost of elementals increases with the number of already minted elementals. For example, the first 1,000 fire NFTs can cost 0.01 SOL to mint but after the 1,000 mint, the price goes up to 0.05 SOL (made-up cost numbers). Therefore, although minting is always possible, it becomes more and more expensive as the game is adopted, making the NFTs' inherent value increase.
After acquiring some elementals, the user can combine them to form a Crafted Item, which is explained in more detail in the following heading. The user then receives the Crafted Item NFT and burns the two elementals NFT, making the elementals NFTs always on demand.
Since elementals are NFTs, they can be traded in the most used NFT-trading platforms. There will be a small % fee of the NFT volume that is captured by the team and is used 100% to buy back and burn $GENERA.
Crafted Items
Crafted items are the items created due to the combination of other items, either elementals or other existing crafted items. The user can only combine two items at a time to generate a new item.
In addition, contrary to the elementals, crafted items can not be minted in the Genera Game App, they can also be created from scratch.
The crafting process entails the burning of the NFTs which are being combined and the minting of a new NFT, which is the newly crafted item. For example, by combining fire and water, the user loses their fire and water NFT but gains a steam NFT, which can then be used to craft a new item or sell in the secondary market for a higher price.
Crafted items are assigned a tier level according to the lowest number of combinations required for their crafting. Thus, elementals are a tier-0 item and steam is a tier-1 item, for instance.
First Crafted Item NFT
There will be new items which haven't been discovered in the Genera Game. AI will determine what the item should be and mint that NFT to the user with a proper AI-generated image attached. That first minting determines the picture of the following mints.
Additionally, that first minted NFT is special. For a better understanding, an example will be given. Let's say that one of the first users of the Genera Game mints the first steam NFT. The owner of the first steam NFT can mint a new steam NFT free of charge daily. Thus, if the steam NFT is traded on the secondary market for 1 SOL, then the owner makes passively 1 SOL per day. Also, he can use it to make new items at a lower cost basis. The possibilities are endless.
This mechanism incentivizes the discovery of new crafted items which consequently increases the need for the elementals, moving the game's wheel.
